All-encompassing design

  • My first job out of college was as a copy writer for Today’s Chicago Woman Magazine. From there, I became a Copy Editor and Layout Designer for The Herald Palladium in St. Joseph, Michigan. Cohesive design, collaboration and short deadlines quickly became second nature to me. Adobe Creative Suite became my best friend.

  • In my time as an Event Planner at 1928 Planning Company, I managed a client base of over 60 couples at a time, orchestrating and planning $80k events. This included budget management, design direction, and vendor management. These vital roles acted as catalyst for my future in client facing roles.

  • In 2016 I began my work as a freelance designer and creative lettering instructor through starting my own business: Handlettering by Hannah. Through this venture, I desinged nationally recognized work for greeting card company P.S. Greetings and handlettered work for Sharpie and PrismaColor.

  • Through a variety of clients, I have created print material such as menus, stationary, and signage. I have also worked on brand development and website design for a variety of clients. Visually helping tell the story of entrepreneurs is what I love most.
